Account Deletion

Sentinel is designed primarily around local, owner-controlled data rather than requiring DPNS to hold custody of a user's wallet credentials.

Delete local Sentinel data

Where the installed version provides an in-app account, profile, reset, or deletion control, use that control to remove the associated local information. Users may also remove application data through Android settings or uninstall Sentinel, subject to Android and user-controlled backup behavior.

If you created a DPNS-hosted account

If a Sentinel feature has created an account stored by DPNS and no in-app deletion control is available, submit a deletion request using the official support contact shown in Sentinel or its Google Play listing. Identify the account using only the minimum information necessary for DPNS to locate it.

Never include a wallet recovery phrase, private key, PIN, password, or other wallet secret in a deletion request.

What cannot be deleted by DPNS

Transactions already recorded on a public blockchain are maintained by that network and cannot be erased by DPNS. Information that DPNS is legally required to retain may also be retained for the applicable period.
